    EPLN OBITUARIES

    Dolores Novotney, 94, of St. Louis Park, passed away March 22, 2025.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, John Novotney; daughter, Lee Ann Wethe; and former husband, Tom Wethe.

    She is survived by daughter Kimberly (Thomas) Godward; son, Paul Wethe; grandchildren Brandon (Sarah) Godward, Nick Godward and Brittany (Chris) Seaver; great-granddaughters Svea Godward and Charlotte Seaver; sister, Barbara Nelson; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

    Dolores was born to Edwin and Alice Friedrich on April 15, 1930. As a child, she enjoyed many trips to Fergus Falls to visit her father’s family farm.

    Dolores was a personal banker with Norwest Bank and retired from Wells Fargo. After retirement, she volunteered as a traveler’s assistant at the MSP airport.

    A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, with visitation one-half hour prior at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina. Private interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
