Unveiling begins at noon at the museum, located at Flying Cloud Airport. Doors open at 11 a.m., with free admission and access to exhibits and historic aircraft until 3 p.m. Visitors should enter through Gate H, one mile west of Flying Cloud Drive on Pioneer Trail.
Among this year’s inductees is Robert Cabana, a Minneapolis native and former NASA astronaut who piloted or commanded four Space Shuttle missions. A retired Marine Corps colonel and test pilot, Cabana later served as chief of NASA’s Astronaut Office and director of the Kennedy Space Center. He is expected to attend the April 12 event.
Other 2025 honorees include Mark Baker, president of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association; Amanda Lee, a Navy fighter pilot and member of the Blue Angels demonstration team; Clarence Krotz, a World War II B-26 bomber pilot; James Goodall, author and founder of the Minnesota Air Guard Museum; Randy Corfman of the Minnesota Pilots Association; and early aviation pioneer Nicholas Bernard Mamer.
The formal induction banquet will be held that evening at Mystic Lake Center in Prior Lake.
