The classic/skate pursuit event at sectionals commenced with a 5K classic race, determining the participants’ placements for the subsequent skate pursuit race. Competing for Eden Prairie in the boys classic skate/pursuit race were Brayton Bahner, Blake Chester, Carter Gilbert, Kyle Kolberg, and Tavin Koenig. Meanwhile, Lillian Beutz, Freya Dahl, Erica Forsyth, Ava Muilenburg, and Sarah Williams represented the girls in the classic/skate pursuit. A notable highlight was when all five girls skied in unison during the pursuit race. Overall, the Eden Prairie girls finished in fourth place, and the boys took fifth place
