Writer supports Russo for ‘common sense’ leadership

Letter to EditorBy Letter to EditorOctober 21, 20242 Mins Read

I’ve been a resident of Eden Prairie for 14 years and had an opportunity to meet Wendi Russo a couple of weeks ago. I think she has some great ideas for our city and state. She will push to keep our communities safe for our families in many ways, including supporting the police and responsible thinking regarding women’s sports.

We certainly need to help all the level-headed Republicans we can to be voted into our state Legislature. The progressives on the left can’t seem to spend everyone’s money fast enough and then turn around and raise taxes. (Gov. Tim) Walz, in my opinion, is the worst governor that Minnesota has ever had. He has already designated the entire state of Minnesota as a sanctuary state, and we have not yet begun to feel the repercussions from that and many of the other progressive ideas that he and the left will attempt to enact, which will cost more money. They’ve allowed undocumented aliens to use up the resources that the people (especially seniors) of our state deserve and will need in the coming years. We cannot allow him and the Democrats, who will rubber-stamp his extreme left-wing ideas, to be in control of the Minnesota House of Representatives.

Please vote for Wendi Russo and allow her to restore the common sense that Minnesotans deserve before it’s too late.

    Brad Peterson, Eden Prairie
