State Sen. Steve Cwodzinski was one of 25 state lawmakers who received recognition as 2024 Legislators of Distinction from the League of Minnesota Cities. Cwodzinski is a DFL member who represents State Senate District 49, which includes Eden Prairie.
The League chooses legislators to honor based on specific actions that aided Minnesota cities during the past year’s state legislative session.The League of Minnesota Cities stated that, “Cwodzinski helped secure bipartisan passage of legislation to clarify the authority and role of school resource officers. He has also been routinely accessible to League staff and receptive to the concerns of cities.”
Award winners received a letter of appreciation and a certificate. A copy of the acknowledgment letter was also sent to the mayor of each city in the legislator’s district.
