The City of Eden Prairie has rescheduled its July 4 fireworks, which were canceled due to weather, for Thursday, Aug. 22.

Dubbed the “Best. Make-up Party. Ever!,” the event will take place at Round Lake Park and feature a lakeside concert by Free & Easy Band at 7 p.m., followed by a fireworks show at 9:15 p.m.

The celebration will also include food trucks and beverages. The lineup of food vendors will be available on the city’s website as soon as they are confirmed.

Parking will be available at the Eden Prairie Community Center, with a free shuttle service from the Community Center entrance to Round Lake Park. Disability parking for vehicles displaying a valid permit will be accessible near the tennis courts.
