Two massage therapists from Tigercave Massage & Foot Spa in Eden Prairie have been charged by the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office for engaging in unwanted touch during massage sessions, Eden Prairie police announced Wednesday.

John Vue, 27, of Minneapolis, was charged with two counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct for two separate incidents that occurred in May. Vue posted $30,000 bail on June 24. His next court appearance is Aug. 15.

Dru Alexander Barrow, 27, of Minnetonka, was charged with one count of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct for an incident in March.

Each charge is a felony, carrying a maximum sentence of 10 years and/or a fine between $6,000 and $20,000.

According to the criminal complaints filed in Hennepin County District Court, Vue allegedly manipulated a victim’s underwear and touched her inappropriately during an individual massage session on May 14. In a separate incident on May 16, Vue reportedly massaged another victim’s bare breasts without her consent during a couples massage.

Barrow’s charges stem from a March 7 incident in which he allegedly touched a woman’s breasts without her consent during an individual massage session. During the investigation, police determined that Barrow was not licensed to practice massage therapy in Eden Prairie.

Eden Prairie police are urging any other potential victims of similar incidents at Tigercave Massage & Foot Spa, 12200 Middleset Road, to report by calling 952-949-6200. The department stated that each case would be thoroughly investigated if additional victims came forward.

In a press release, the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office praised the victims for their bravery in coming forward, noting that their actions were crucial in pressing charges. The office’s Victim and Witness Services division provides trauma-informed support, helping victims throughout the court process. This support system aims to create a safe environment for victims to share their experiences, which can encourage others to come forward and aid in the prosecution of offenders.
