    EPHS boys volleyball conference champs head to playoffs on Wednesday

    The Eden Prairie Eagles boys volleyball team will play in a finals match at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, at Eden Prairie High School to determine which team heads to state.

    The Eagles concluded regular season play as champions of the SouthWest Conference for the second year in a row, with a conference record of 8-1 and an overall record of 16-6.

    Eden Prairie earned a bye for the first round of playoffs. The team’s finals match will be against the winner of the Hopkins/Bloomington Jefferson game, following a 5:30 p.m. match between two other conference teams. The theme is Red Out.

    • Senior captain Aadi Awasthi, 197 kills.
    • Junior Daniel Jiang, 53 blocks.
    • Junior captain Deion Lange, 316 assists.
    • Sophomore Gee Padmanaban, 270 digs and 29 ace serves.
