The Prouty Project of Eden Prairie has been named as one of 10 finalists for the 2024 Meaningful Capitalism Awards.

The Meaningful Capitalism Awards celebrate Minnesota business leaders who are successful at growing and running financially sustainable businesses, and doing so in ways that tangibly benefit individuals, families and communities. They are awarded by the business advisory firm Platinum Group.

Criteria for companies that receive the Meaningful Capitalism Awards are:

    • Consistently profitable
    • Proactive in helping their employees become better people and grow professionally
    • Donate a portion of their profits to improve the lives of individuals and/or organizations that promote dignity and respect for people and vibrant, healthy communities
    • Balance well the competing interests of the various stakeholder groups
    • Provide products and services that enable the community to flourish

The Prouty Project is a management and consultant firm with a focus on strategic planning and leadership development. Its headquarters are located at 6385 Old Shady Oak Road in Eden Prairie.

Platinum Group will reveal the honorees for the 2024 Meaningful Capitalism Awards during a May 7 reception at the Metropolitan Ballroom in Golden Valley.

“Our firm is producing this program in part to honor Platinum Group Founder Dean Bachelor, who passed away in 2021. Dean defined, and had trademarked, our firm’s mission of Meaningful Capitalism,” says Platinum Group partner Bill English. “We recognize and appreciate seeing this same value in other companies and are placing the spotlight on them through this awards program.”
