The community is invited to the second annual “Bids and Brews Silent Auction” at Fat Pants Brewing, which is hosted by The PROP Shop of Eden Prairie.

The event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 11 (which also happens to be The PROP Shop’s 17th anniversary).

Tickets are $20 and include a drink ticket and a nacho bar. They can be purchased here.

While tickets are required to enter the event, anyone unable to come is still welcome to bid online. Mandi Karulf, who is organizing the auction, said, “We have a wide variety of items this year, everything from local breweries to whiskey tasting in Portland, Oregon, an electric shovel to spa experiences.”

Silent auction items can be viewed online here. Bidders should note that items won will not be shipped but will be available for pick up from The PROP Shop after the event.

Karulf said funds raised from this event will be used to provide beds, kitchen supplies, winter gear, and socks/underwear to people in the community who are experiencing need. She added that The PROP Shop currently has over 50 people waiting for beds and serves 300 families a month.

Karulf said last year’s event raised over $12,000, “and we’re hoping to raise even more this year.”
