Verizon taking public comments on proposed cell phone tower at Franlo Park

Cellco Partnership, doing business as Verizon Wireless, is currently accepting public comments regarding its proposal to build a 69-foot monopole (single-pole) telecommunication tower near 10245 Franlo Road, Eden Prairie.

The address is that of Franlo Park. Public comments regarding the proposal are being accepted through the end of March at the attention of Camille Neitzel, Trileaf Corp, 1821 Walden Office Square, Suite 500, Schaumburg, IL 60173. Email is c.neitzel@trileaf.com.

Applications open for statewide competition for businesses with less than $1 million in revenue

Applications are open for the MN Cup, the nation’s largest statewide startup competition. Minnesota businesses at any stage, from idea to revenue-generating operation, are eligible to apply as long as their annual revenue is under $1 million. The businesses compete for a share of the $400,000 in prize money.

Entry divisions include the following: general, high-tech, education and training, energy/clean technology/water, food/agriculture/beverage, impact ventures, life science/health IT, student (undergraduate or grad students) and youth (18 and under).

Industry judges will review entries and select 90 semifinalists from across the nine divisions. Semifinalists will move forward and receive opportunities for education, mentorship, and networking.

The application deadline is April 12, and the 2024 Grand Prize Winner will be announced on Sept. 16.

MN Cup, now in its 20th year, is a community-led, public-private partnership that is a program of the Holmes Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management.
