Juliana AllenBy Juliana AllenMarch 1, 20243 Mins Read

Eden Prairie Schools shared a job posting on March 1 for a new Eden Prairie High School (EPHS) principal, to succeed Nate Gibbs, the current principal, who will depart after the 2023-24 school year.

The preferred deadline to apply for the role is March 29, but the district said the application review will begin immediately. The start date for the position is July 1.

EP Schools is asking for community input on characteristics they would like the new principal to have, as well as their perceptions about EPHS. Feedback can be submitted via an anonymous five-question survey.

The new EPHS principal will lead 260 staff members and 2,800 students. In the job posting, the district said the “EPHS principal plays a crucial role in guiding Eden Prairie’s next generation, and we seek a student-centered, visionary leader who will empower students to discover their interests, explore their opportunities, and pursue their passions in high school and beyond.”
