Eden Prairie police arrested a 23-year-old man at about 11:20 a.m. Sunday, following a high-speed pursuit of a stolen 2021 Dodge Charger from West St. Paul, ending near Home Depot, 13100 Valley View Road.

The Eden Prairie Police Department stated that before his apprehension in Eden Prairie, the suspect had evaded officers from the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office, as well as the Crystal, Brooklyn Center, Maple Grove, New Hope, and Plymouth police departments.

Police pursued the vehicle eastbound on Highway 212, where it exited on Prairie Center Drive and sideswiped six vehicles before rear-ending another.

The stolen vehicle headed north on Prairie Center Drive toward Valley View Road, turned east into a parking lot adjacent to Home Depot, and descended an embankment before stopping.

Police arrested the driver, who was uninjured and the only person in the car, without incident.

On the Prairie Center Drive off-ramp, the stolen vehicle caused minor damage to several vehicles. One individual sustained minor injuries and was transported by Hennepin EMS. The Eden Prairie Fire Department and Minnesota State Patrol assisted at the scene.

Police stated that no further details are available at this time.
