Congratulations to Stan Tekiela on his retirement from Eden Prairie as the person who instilled the curiosity of the outdoors in so many young and old in Eden Prairie.
He took that program from an idea to provide outdoor opportunities, to a grand potpourri of great programs! Stan is right in how he describes how he grew that program — mostly by just doing it and asking permission later.
The residents of Eden Prairie (and surrounding communities) have had much richer lives thanks to his ideas and hard work!
