    EPHS Orchestras will perform Winter Concert on Nov. 30

    Eden Prairie High School’s orchestras will perform their Winter Concert at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 30, in the high school’s Performing Arts Center.

    Admission to the event is free, and the community is invited to attend. The concert will also be live-streamed at this link.

    The set list will be as follows:

    • Intermezzo Orchestra: “Kingsbridge March” by William Dyson, “Intensity” by Sean O’Loughlin
    • Philharmonic Orchestra: “Western Dawn” by Alan Lee Silva, “Storm” by Soon Hee Newbold
    • Symphonic Orchestra: “Sweet Petite Winter Suite (I. Candy Canes, II. Hot Chocolate, III. Peppermint Bark, IV. Gingerbread Man)” by Brian Balmages, “A Medieval Carol” by Morgan Denney
Concertino Orchestra: “A Glimpse of Winter” by Tyler S. Grant
    • Concert Orchestra: “Inverno – Scenes from Vivaldi’s Winter” by Antonio Vivaldi [Arr. by Todd Parrish]
Concertino and Concert Orchestras: “Carol of the Bells” by  Mykola Leontovich [Arr. Michael Hopkins]


    The Concert Orchestra will also perform at the Winter Choral Concert at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 5. It will accompany the Chamber Choir’s performances of two movements from George Frideric Handel’s “Messiah”: “And the Glory” and “The Hallelujah Chorus.”
