Jahnavi Dari of Eden Prairie has been named to the board of directors of the Minnesota Academy of Science (MAS). Darji, who received her doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Kansas in 2006, is a client formulary director at CVS Health. She has served as a judge at the Minnesota State Science and Engineering Fair and the Twin Cities Regional Science Fair, a coach and judge for FIRST Robotics, and a volunteer for various STEM programs.
“I come from a family of STEM professionals and see the importance of STEM in the world,” said Darji. “We are amidst a STEM evolution where STEM skills are integral to every area of our society. Development and encouragement of STEM education for our youth is imperative to build 21st century skills.” MAS’ mission is to provide opportunities for Minnesotans of all backgrounds to engage in STEM-related learning, inquiry, research, and networking.
