Eden Prairie-based C.H. Robinson named Dave Bozeman its new chief executive officer, effective June 26.
The transport and logistics company made the announcement in a media release on Tuesday.
Bozeman, who also has been appointed to the company’s board of directors, will succeed interim CEO Scott Anderson.
Anderson became interim CEO in January following the resignation of former CEO Bob Biesterfeld, who had been in that role since May 2019. Anderson will continue to serve on the board of directors.
Bozeman most recently served as vice president in the Ford Customer Service Division and vice president of Enthusiast Vehicles for Ford Blue at Ford Motor Company. Before joining Ford, Bozeman held the role of vice president of Amazon Transportation Services at Amazon.com.
Jodee Kozlak, chair of the board of directors at C.H. Robinson, said Bozeman was hired after a “comprehensive and thoughtful search process” to find a new CEO.
“Dave is the right leader to take C.H. Robinson’s vision forward with his focus on organizational opportunity and enhancing value for our customers and our shareholders by capitalizing on C.H. Robinson’s opportunities as a leading asset-light logistics provider in a rapidly-evolving and increasingly complex supply chain environment,” Kozlak said.
Bozeman said it’s an honor to lead C.H. Robinson’s next chapter.
“I look forward to working alongside a strong management team and with talented employees to deliver for our customers and accelerate the next phase of sustained growth and success,” he said. “I am confident that with C.H. Robinson’s superior global services, people and capabilities, we will build on a strong existing foundation and execute on significant growth opportunities to create lasting value for Robinson shareholders, employees and the communities and customers we serve.”
