Temporary closure of Singletree Lane starts Thursday

EPLN Staff ReportsBy EPLN Staff ReportsJune 5, 20231 Min Read

Singletree Lane will temporarily close beginning on Thursday, June 8.

According to the city, the closure comes as part of the city’s reconstruction project for the intersection of Prairie Center Drive and Singletree Lane. It is expected to last about one month and primarily impacts access to Life Time Eden Prairie Athletic, 755 Prairie Center Drive, and the immediate Singletree Lane area.

Prairie Center Drive will remain open in both directions. All businesses on Singletree Lane east of the Prairie Center Drive intersection will be accessible to vehicles via Flying Cloud Drive.

The city stated that the reconstruction project is designed to improve traffic flow and increase vehicle and pedestrian safety. Improvements to the intersection include roadway and traffic signal changes, and updated safety accommodations for pedestrians.

Construction is expected to be completed by the end of July.
