    EP offers curbside pickup in May

    Eden Prairie residents can recycle household items directly from their curbside throughout May.

    According to the city, items that can be recycled include appliances, tires, electronics, propane tanks, exercise equipment, furniture, mattresses, and box springs.

    Only Eden Prairie residents are eligible for this service, and all items must be free from hazardous substances. Light bulbs and batteries will not be accepted.

    The pickup service is available Monday through Friday from May 1 to May 31. It is not available on Saturdays or Sundays. To schedule a pickup, residents should call Certified Recycling at 952-894-1448.

    This service costs a $25 pickup fee plus the item’s price (which can be found on this list).

    City officials ask that residents put their items as close to the curb as possible. In case of rain, residents should place items near their garages or cover them with a tarp.
