Cory Stewart receives golf association scholarship
Cory Stewart of Eden Prairie and a caddie at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska has been awarded the Western Golf Association’s Chick Evans Scholarship, a full, four-year housing and tuition scholarship for golf caddies.
Named finalist for science and engineering fair award
Yash Dagade of Eden Prairie is a finalist for the Regeneron International Science & Engineering Fair (ISEF) Award for his submission, “WATT from VAWT: Design of A Novel Vertical Airborne Wind Turbine (VAWT) Clean Energy Farm.”
The award recognizes Minnesota’s top high school science and engineering projects. ISEF is the world’s largest pre-college science competition, where thousands of students from around the world showcase their research. This year’s ISEF competition is in Dallas, Texas, from May 14-19.
