    Harry Peter ‘Bud’ Grant Jr.

    EPLN OBITUARIES

    Harry Peter “Bud” Grant Jr., age 95, of Bloomington, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, March 11.

    Bud was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia; son, Bruce; and brother, Jim.

    He is survived by children, Kathy (Steve) Fritz, Laurie (Brian Asleson) Tangert, Peter (Jennifer), Mike (Colleen), Daniel (Melissa); brother, Jack; partner, Patricia Smith; grandchildren, Kelly, Ben (Jenniffer), Rick (Mary), Jen (Gibran), Gretchen (Jeff), Chris (Sarah), Ryan (Claire), Taylor, Alaina, Rosie, Kiera, Harry, Preston, Alex, Sophia, Natalie, Sydney, Kendal, Dominick; great-grandchildren, Makena, Mady, Bella, Drake, Hudson, Nala, Cambell, Lofton, Wilson, Weston, Penn, Brooke, McLaren, Max, Martina, Theodore, and many other loving family members and friends.

    A memorial service for family and friends will be held Saturday, March 18, at 2 p.m. with visitation one hour prior at Grace Church, 9301 Eden Prairie Road, Eden Prairie.

    A public celebration to honor Bud will be held in May at U.S. Bank Stadium. Further details to follow.

    In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Minnesota Vikings Foundation, 2600 Vikings Circle, Eagan, MN 55121, or DAV Foundation care of Camp Ripley Outdoor Program Minnesota Veterans Outdoors, 576 Concord Drive, Chaska, MN 55318.
