Man flees EP police, found in Edina marsh

    By Staff ReportsOctober 27, 2022Updated:October 27, 20221 Min Read

Eden Prairie police arrested Robert Harper, 25, of Bellwood, Illinois, after he fled a traffic stop at Columbine Road and Anderson Lakes Parkway in the early morning hours of Tuesday, Oct. 25.

After a brief pursuit at about 2:30 a.m., police reported that Harper crashed his vehicle at a roundabout at Highways 62 and 100 in Edina.

Harper fled on foot, eventually being found in a nearby wooded marsh area, Edina police reported. A Minnesota State Patrol helicopter helped both Eden Prairie and Edina police in the search.

Palmer was arrested for fleeing an officer and DWI, EP police reported. He was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center for evaluation and was later released and booked into Hennepin County jail.
