Twenty-six 12-and-Under B fastpitch softball teams from across the Twin Cities battled Saturday at Eden Prairie’s Miller Park for a spot in their state tournament later this summer.

Fans watched their teams play Saturday at Miller Park.

Two Eden Prairie teams, Red and Black, were among the teams hoping to move on.

Teams competing Saturday must win one game over the course of the weekend to earn a berth in the state tournament, a portion of which will be held at Miller Park July 9 and 10.

    • Three members of the Rogers-Ostego squad watched a game from the bleachers.
    • A Chaska outfielder stopped a hit from going to the fence.
    • Equipment wagons stood at the ready.
    • A fan checked out results on the bracket board at Miller Park.
    • Field tools were ready to go between games.
    • A bird had a front row seat atop a chainlink fence at Miller Park Saturday.
    • Macie Lahti of Eden Prairie Black B team prepared to slide as the ball got past the Princeton Tigers’ 3rd baseman during Saturday’s play at Miller Park.
    • EP 12U Black player Addison Neiss watch the action from the dugout.
    • Eden Prairie 12U Black’s Lauren Santy prepared to deliver a pitch Saturday against the Princeton Tigers.
    • Ava Hendrickson of EP Black lined a double to right field during EP’s 11-1 victory over Princeton.
