Volunteers needed to clean up parks on April 23

Staff ReportsBy Staff ReportsApril 19, 2022Updated:April 19, 20221 Min Read

Eden Prairie is looking for volunteers to help with its park clean-up day event from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 23.

The event is suitable for kids and adults, and it’s an excellent outdoor activity for families and service groups.

View the interactive map to locate an area that is accessible for cleaning, and sign up by Thursday, April 21. Some larger parks can have more than one group work the area, and groups will be spaced out accordingly.

As in previous years, the city provides gloves and trash bags. A range of glove sizes will be available for youth and adults. Groups meet in the morning at their respective parks using the map to guide their cleanup.

The map is also used at the end of the event to find trash drop-off locations. City employees pick up bags when the event is over.
