    By Staff ReportsJanuary 24, 2022Updated:January 24, 20221 Min Read

Flagship Bank Minnesota CEO Andy Schornack is one of this year’s 40 Under 40 honorees by Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.

This award recognizes young business and community leaders from across the Twin Cities and encompasses a variety of industries.

Schornack has been CEO of Flagship Bank Minnesota, headquartered in Wayzata, since 2014. Flagship Bank has six branches, including Eden Prairie, where Schornack is based.

“I am honored to have been afforded this opportunity alongside such great local leaders,” Schornack said. “A huge thanks to my team at Flagship Bank Minnesota who helps us achieve these great results, day-in and day-out.”

A 2018 article in the Independent Banker profiled Schornack and his rise from a part-time intern at First Commercial Bank in Bloomington in 2005 to CEO at Flagship Bank Minnesota in 2014.

Every year, the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal editors select 40 leaders under the age of 40 who have exemplified professional successes while also contributing to their communities.

The Business Journal will publish complete profiles online of all 40 of the 2022 honorees the week of March 7.
