Eden Prairie Players (EPP) has a new online production, EPP Radio Theater. EPP Radio Theater is a new series of recorded short plays that EPP fans will be able to view.

Conceived as a way to continue producing theater for our audience during the pandemic, the production includes three plays, Infidelity, Indelible, and The Stranger In The Storm. Infidelity premieres on the EPP website on Friday, July 9 and 6:00 PM. To view it, visit here .

The other two shows Indelible, and The Stranger In The Storm will each have their own premiere date this summer. Indelible will premiere on July 23 at 6:00 PM and The Stranger In The Storm will premiere on August 13, also at 6:00 PM. Information about the whole series can be found here.

All three shows will remain online for 30 days and are licensed by arrangement with the playwrights. The plays were chosen by the Eden Prairie Players Advisory Committee from 100 submissions of unpublished plays earlier this year.

The call for submissions asked for “radio plays or plays that can be adapted to radio.” However, EPP is not broadcasting them on radio but presenting a video recording of the studio recording of a radio play.

One of the plays, Indelible, was written as a Zoom play so it was also recorded it in that format.
All three plays are free to view but EPP asks audience members to consider a free will donation to support its ability to provide this kind of unique production.
