    Update: stolen car, dog found

    By Mark WeberFebruary 16, 2021Updated:February 18, 20211 Min Read
Eden Prairie Police are looking for a stolen Camry that had the owner's dog inside.

(Update: Authorities late Tuesday said the vehicle and dog referenced in this story had been safely found.)

Eden Prairie Police are looking for a car – and the dog that was inside it – taken from a local gas station Monday evening.

At around 7 p.m. on Feb. 15, a 2002 tan-colored Toyota Camry with a Minnesota license plate, 593-UND, was stolen from the Holiday gas station at 8051 Flying Cloud Drive.

The vehicle had been left running with keys in the ignition.

Inside the car was the owner’s dog, a Weimaraner breed that answers to the name of “Bevis.” He was wearing a blue and red bandana, as pictured here. If you see the vehicle or dog, call 911 immediately.
