We have reached February, which means we are that much closer to the end of the regular season for many winter sports.

Though the season is not even a month old, we can already see that EPHS has teams capable of making deep runs in the postseason.

The Eden Prairie girls’ basketball is ranked in the top 10 of Class 4A and faces a tough Wayzata team on Tuesday in a Lake Conference.

Meanwhile, the Eden Prairie boys’ hockey team is coming off a runner-up finish in 2020 and appear to be back to their winning ways as the Eagles sit at No. 4 in the Class 2A rankings and face off against Lake Conference foe Minnetonka on Saturday.
