A Helping Hand: What PROP needs this week

Ryan WilliamsonBy Ryan WilliamsonNovember 26, 20201 Min Read
See the PROP list for the Top 5 items needed this week.

For more than 40 years, People Reaching Out to People (PROP) has been serving those in need in Eden Prairie.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, PROP has continued to be a mainstay in the community. PROP is helping those in need of food, housing stability, employment, transportation and more.

In the midst of this pandemic and economic crisis, more people are needing help.

PROP has continued to assist folks but, as always, they rely on donations from those in the community. EPLN has partnered with PROP to release a list of the top five most needed items each week.

The top five needs at PROP for the week of Nov. 23:

    1. Shampoo/conditioner

    2. Oatmeal

    3. Syrup

    4. Chili

    5. 100 percent fruit juice

To donate these items and others, members of the community are welcome to drop off food donations Monday-Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Wednesdays from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

PROP is located at 14700 Martin Drive. The donation door is green and on the west side of the building.

Besides donating food, PROP also allows people to become monthly donors. To learn more visit propfood.org/donate.
